Dugan is a sick person.. his mom cared about him with all her heart . She did everything for him.Our family has known Dugan and Judy(his mom) for 15 years so we can tell you more than the news can. Well anyways, a little over a year ago he (Dugan)got really bad into drugs, like crack cocaine, and started to go a little more looney than ever. He does magic, he sometimes used to call himself "The Illusionist". He started to abuse his mother by pushing her around, or holding her down with a knife to her neck, He'd hover over her while she slept..but he never went any further than that. He came over pratically everyday and we would cook dinner for him or let him spend the night. One day he came over and started talking about how he could read all of our minds...yea a little weird...Anyways another time he came maybe three days before Easter and said that all the vampires are going to die because Jesus will resurrect and kill us all on Easter Sunday. He made a list of all the "vampires" and everyone who lives at my house were on this list excpet my mom and dad. Well his mother, her name is Judy, well she feared for her life because of everything he did. She called the cops almost everyday and all she wanted was to get her son mental help. She filed a mental health warrant, but that was never taken in by the police. But the Police would come out to her home most days. They said he was normal and harmless even though the whole time they were there he was showing them magic tricks. He even went to a psychaiatrist to be evaluted and the doctor even said he was normal. His mother spent the night quite often while Dugan was at home smoking crack. The cops finally arrested him for some outstanding warrants and he was in jail for about a month and a half. She picked him up monday July 9, 2007 and was murdered Tuesday July 10, 2007 wasn't found til Wednesday Night July 11, 2007. One stab wound to the chest. Dugan was sitting next to her body smoking crack and letting all of the animals release feces and urine all over her and the house. I believe this all could have been prevented if the police force had protected her and listened to all the times she called and said she was in danger. The police said that they couldnt do anything til something actually happened...well now she is dead.

He's one sick person and I hope he gets what he deserves for murdering his mom.. he deserves nothing less than life in prison or death row. I'm rooting for death row personally..

i have personaly dated michael todd and from exoeriance there was something wrong about a year ago i broke it off with todd as soon as the police called my mother ... i didnt even think of him until about a month ago when my mother called me and said dugan had come to her house looking for me a little scared i juast sat bcak and didnt think to muc hof it until the day he started going to my friends houses looking for me a little worried i called and asked what he was doing looking for me ( todd had no idea i lived in the same subdivison as him) he wouldnt give me a strait answer he just kept saying i had powers and i stole his bird i was concerned if he ever would of found out how close i was to him would he of killed me 2?????

When I moved to Texas, me and Dugan hung out a lot...and he was normal whenever we hung out. He would come over, we'd smoke a little...but never did anything else smoke and play play station and he would sometimes stay for dinner. Then I moved to back to VA, and would visit my parents on holidays, and he would come chill when he found out I was back. And again, we'd smoke and play ps2. When I got the call at 6am from my mother telling me what he did, I was in shock for a day or two...i couldn't believe it. Now reading all this stuff it's like I'm reading about a totally different person. Yea he would occasionally do a few cool card tricks, but wouldn't try to read minds or predict the future. This Dugan is definitely not the same one I knew in high school a few years ago...my regards to Judy's friends and family. Dugan, I hope there is a stitch of good left in you to realize the pain you brought to everyone you knew...

Todd came up three and half years ago on the receiving end of a zero tolerance case we documented. He'd sprayed his inhaler near enough to a teacher that the teach had an allergic reaction and was hospitalized. Readers on my website brought his current activities to our attention.

i guess any one who was abused for so long migt go a little crazy. karma. what goes around comes back. i knew michael as a young child and preteen. he was scared a lot. he was abused. all the way though high school we were secretive friends. our paths split when he...lost it, but its like he was the same old michael with me...only with me. he was crazy for a reason people.

My family has been friends with Judy and her family for 20 years. Dugan was never abused!! To who ever wrote that he was your an idiot!! His parents gave him everything he ever wanted!! If you were secret friends with him you ever wonder why you secret friends? Because he was lying to you if he said he was abused!! Dugan was cool then all of the sudden he would say we derived from black invisible people from the sky, tell me that doesnt sound crazy. It started off slowly then progressed to him killing his mom! And if you were such great friends with him you would know he goes by Dugan!!!!

The thing that is so strange to me is that everyone is so ready to try and convict Dugan when no one knows what really happened. Judy could have dropped Dugan off somewhere got some coffee and returned home to get something she forgot, there could have been an intruder in the house, someone could have followed her back home, there are many things that could have happened and many people who might have committed this crime other than Dugan. Simply because Dugan was in the car when the police arrived does not mean that he had to be the one ....he could have returned home and found his mother and been afraid the same person might kill him and hid in the car...No one knows because no one was there and no one came for two days...why????One has to wonder.....Can you think of other people who might have wanted her dead????A person who was angry she had posted bond to get him out????Someone who has a long running vendetta going back to the 70's?????Speculation????We don't know and we will never know unless Dugan received the kind of help he needs and is able to recall events that will help to solve this mystery....

But Judy was always a champion of the underdog and if she were here she would be doing everything in her power to see that Dugan received help and at least a fair trial and not a kangaroo jury where he is already judged guilty.....

If society really wants to see justice they will demand that he be given the help he needs.....

If he didn't do it why did he hide for 2 days then? He seems like he was losing it slowly, until he finally flipped. You need to be realistic. if his mom was here we wouldn't be talking about him would we? at least until he got someone else. Sounds like he knew what he was doing when he made a teacher have an allergic reaction also. And i am sure he knew if it got to bad she could have died. Thats a pretty big indicator that he was nuts, trying to kill his teacher. It doesn't matter what you say chances are the kid killed his mom.

Dugan DID kill his mom.. you don't know the half of it.. the police came AFTER Judy's mother and father got there and found her first. Dugan was sitting next to her dead body and smoking crack.. So you can say what ever you want about Dugan.. but get it straight.. he DID kill his mom. hell.. a few weeks before it happened he held a knife to her throat demanding money and saying he was going to kill her if she didn't give it to him. You say you are a friend of dugan and Judy's but you don't even know what happened. When the police got there he was in the car hiding but they weren't the first one's there. They didn't see what Judy's mother and father saw. And Judy tried to get dugan help she didn't want him going to jail. She missed her son so much that when he called her monday begging for her to come get him she borrowed the bail money from her boss to get him out. there are no "chances are" or "he needs a fair trial".. he did it. There's more to the story than you think. So unless you are sure about what your talking about.. don't leave a comment.

Hey this is a place where people can say their opinions on the subject, thats the joy of "freedom of speech". None of the shit you wrote was anywhere in the article. So what, you where there, you saw it to? Or you just heard the story from someone else. How do we know what you are saying is the truth? we don't. And you can go and and try to tell people what to do on a public website but it doesn't matter, trench is in charge around here. So you give us a link with the real story about it, and i will believe you.

I new Judy for 3 years. Hard working excellent pool designer. She always went to work. She loved her son just like all mothers love their children, she protected him and bailed him out of trouble ever time. Myself and several of her close friends tried to tell her that something was wrong with a child that called his mother every 15 minutes and she would answer every call no matter what she was doing or where she was. We tried to tell her that this was unnatural behavior for his age. I have researched the murders that teens have done, 18-21 and there is a growing number of them killing there parents and other innocent people. I am not sure what is quite wrong with these children, except environmental issues. Thery are exposed to gangs, internet games, televison, etc. I am about Judy's age and I have a 20 year-old. Her father and I raised her without violence - zero tolerence, no weapons including your hands and words that you cannot take back. She too has a very hot temper and we are watching and keeping in constant contact to promote positive thinking. She is going to school and working....we feel very lucky right now. Dugan did take his mother's life in my opinion only. It is very sad. He definitely has something wrong in his brain to do such a horrible thing. I will miss Judy very much.

I know it wasn't written in the paper how everything actually happened.. and I guess it's because the cops want all the credit.. but Judy's mother and father were there first.. then the cops got there. We live right down the street from them.. Judy used to come down here scared and she spent a few nights here just to get away from dugan. You don't know the dugan I'm talking about.. you don't know that he made a "hit list" and had everyone in my family's names on it including my 2 year olds.Or that he's threatened Judy with a knife to her throat for money.. He's a sick person and that's my opinion. You believe whatever you want to believe. I'm intitled to my opinion too. And no matter what you say. or want to believe.. I know the truth.. and so does Judy's family.

I never was very fond of Judy. We had our differences and most particularly in the way she handled Dugan. Judy did everything Dugan wanted her to to. She went full out for him over the inhaler incident. She loved Dugan and yep, if she were alive today she would be taking up for him.
Many, many times she told of waking up at night and find Dugan standing over her with a knife in her hand saying "You're gonna' die Bitch!" She was afraid of him and she had people call the police for her and because she loved him so much when the police got there she would not press charges on him because she never wanted him to go to jail.
For those of you who seem to believe that Dugan was abused all I can say is that you didn't know the family at all. One time she bought Dugan a Pair of $200.00 tennis shoes, they got stolen. She didn't yell or fight about it, just went out and got him another pair. Her credit cards were maxed out because whatever Dugan wanted she gave it to him.
She did everything he wanted her to do. At a party one time she left because Dugan wanted her to drive him 20 miles to the library so that he could look up the cost of some clothes on the internet. Against everyone's complaining she left to go take care of Dugan.
There was a knife found next to Judy. I feel certain that the full details and implications have and are being withheld for trial. And if you believe everything that you read in the papers just remember that everything that reporter writes is just what someone has told them. Did you read about the knife? I speculate as to whose fingerprints the police found on the knife. BTW, she was stabbed in the back and chest.

yeah I do..my whole family was on that list including my daughter that is almost 2.. except my parents in law( they weren't on it). But I'm glad the cops found it because my father in law tried to tell Matt Masden that dugan made the "hit list" and that he showed it to my brother's- in law that night he was at our house he even added a friend of ours name to it right infront of him but all matt masden said was that they needed theactual list itself.. and that they couldn't go by hearsay.. well.. now they've got the list. I hope dugan gets life in jail.

In about five minunets Judy called me back and was crying she said we are loosing all of friends, but she said she missed my husband the most who I lost 5 years ago. I told her well we don't have to worry only the good die young and I kind of laughed so I said we are not going any where. She said I just wanted to tell you how much I love you and I said well Il love you to be careful. I asked her how Dudan was acting since getting ot of jail ang she said OK. I tried to call her at home and work both Tuesday and Wed. I called her Daddy and told him I could not reach her and she went to the house and Dugan would not let him in so he wen back home called told me something wierd was going on and he was calling the police.The he called me and we stood in the street all night til early morning. This is what happaned I was there I will never ger over this. Judy worked harder than most men I know to give him everythhing. He was not abused, so what if he was bipolar so am I. Her daughter was raised up with my son she is a great lady and a good mother, she must have learned that from Judy.She gave me a great gift with that last call. My friend a big part of my heart is lost forever.

That's bull.. our family was hopeing on life in prison or death row.. I'm pretty sure they can't do that though.. One time Judy called the cops out to the house they (the E.M.S.) evaluated Dugan and said that he was perfectly normal. Judy tried to get a mental warrant on him and they told her no because there was "nothing" wrong with him. I do agree that he's mentally unstable.. but he knew what he was doing. They found the bloody clothes that he used to clean up her blood with..meaning he moved her body..bottom line ..he knew what he was doing..

Well observer, we don't execute people for selling drugs in this country. Pathetic thats your only solution to a problem, killing them. so how would that stop all of the other drug dealers? There are more and more drug dealers everyday, so lets just kill them all? Get real.

Ive known Dugan since 5th grade.. ever since the inhaler incident he turned for the worst... judy was always the most caring person in his life- and dugan treated her like dirt... he would go missing and she would call my phone all hours of the night trying to track him down... i stopped talking to him my junior year when i noticed how he was getting badly into drugs... may judy rest in peace and may dugan rot in hell

We have known Judy and dugan for a long time. Judy, in a sense, knew this was going to happen.. all the weird things leading up to it..... She told my mother in law one day.."If I die you know who did it.." Dugan did it.. I hope he gets the death penalty.

When are they going to start asking questions?!! Dugan murdered his mother Judy in cold blood and her death has not been brought to justice! We knew that family VERY well.. we knew what dugan was doing to his mother right up until he killed her. She was so scared she couldn't even stay at home with him! I wish they start questioning friends and family! People that actually know what he was putting her through!

i thought i knew him. we would hang out everyday after school my senior year. we went to alpha together and i never saw this evil side yall are talkin about. he was always the same guy who came up to me freshman year and gave me a hug just cuz i looked sad. ever since then we became friends. i was in complete shock when i heard about what happened. honestly i didnt believe it until now i finally got enough balls to read about it. but if you want to find the drug dealers look in the hollow. i dont know their names but i know what they look like. i never thought anything like this would happen when i saw him last we hung out in his room and smoked outta his big bong and he informed me his huge snake was lost. his mom helped us look for it and i saw no signs of any violence but that was before he got into other drugs than weed. im sorry to all the friends and family that were hurt by him if you knew him then you knew that wasnt him that was the drugs.

And if you think the "drug dealers" are in the hollow. haha.. try hunters retreat.. that's where he'd walk to every day the last few weeks before he killed his mother..

I hope he rots in jail.. or gets fried.. it wasn't just the drugs either.. he was into that magic crap.."chris angel" was his idol... so maybe he thought he could make his mother disappear? who knows.. I know what he was like.. he was "on drugs" yes.. but that's not all to blame. he knew what he was doing when he made the hit list. god I hope he gets what he deserves.

oh really? well ou don't know as much as you think you do. I know for a fact that dugan was getting the drugs from outside the hollow.. not in it. And his mother knew too. You ask how did this go so far? you want to know the real dugan? Read the entire first comment written by friend of Judy's. If you think that he was getting it fromsomeone in the hollow you don't have any idea.. you didn't know dugan and who he was hanging out with. you just assume that it came from the hollow.My advice.. don't assume what you don't know for a fact.

He was moved to an insane asylum somewhere in texas.. He knew what he was doing. He should have been tried guilty and gotten life in prison. It's not fair!
